The tiny Centretown diner takes no reservations, posts no shortcuts and still draws a sidewalk queue most weekends \u2014 because a scratch-made breakfast this good is worth standing for.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Concept\"><\/span>The Concept<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The name honours the couple behind the old-school greasy spoon that occupied the room before; when they retired, the new owners kept the diner&#8217;s soul and rebuilt its kitchen ethics from zero. Nearly everything is made in-house from scratch \u2014 sauces, baking, the works \u2014 with ingredients pulled from local suppliers and producers wherever possible.
